[TheForge] 1/2" electric handdrill

I need to get a 1/2" electric handdrill (not battery).   Looking for 
recemmendations.

My future son-in-law suggested DeWalt, but it seems that I have heard a 
number of peope in farious forums speak against the current DeWalt line.

In the "old days" I would have gone with a Milwaukee but it seems that 
lately, again, various people in various forums have said that the current 
Milwaukee is just a shadow of what the brand was years ago.

So anyone got an opinions on what brand to get??
