So who says that you are "The Public".
Who do they sell to?

Confronted with a similar problem when looking for a source for a 
reasonable price on some rather pricey books sold only to research 
libraries, in the late sixties, a friend proclaimed himself Dean of Men 
at "Bartlett University", It has been almost forty years and he still 
gets mail from publishing houses.

Another guy I took a class with, printed up some business cards as a 
purchasing agent for a fictitious furniture store, spent $25 bucks for a 
resellers permit and furnished two houses directly from the wholesalers.

Aren't you the maintenance supervisor for a manufacturer of heavy 
industrial equipment or something?
