[TheForge] Anvil restoration and firebrick.

Hello to all.  I have enjoyed reading the vast array of topics and 
information.  Here's my first posting.
I have a 192# anvil I picked up in NH a few years back.  There are a 
few large chips broken out of the face and a very dull horn.  What is 
the correct way to repair this?
Also, I picked up about a third of a pallet of firebrick from the 
inside of a sunken barge.  They were in salt water for for a long time 
but they don't seem to be mushy or tender whey they're dry.  Might 
there be an issue of the residual salt or moisture?
