Another Member of the SCA here. Thorolf Gunderson  9th Century   Persona. 
Been  in since 1982. I took up Blacksmithing  when a friend  in the SCA  moved 
from California to Iowa. He was the only Blacksmith at  that time that did the 
wars at Estrella wars. A SCA event in Arizona. I make  mostly stuff for camping 
and do a few knives made out of railroad spikes.  Started out using a 
railroad rail as an anvil. Bought my first and only  anvil. Moved to Michigan 3 years 
ago and finally got a place to step up shop  again and hopefully will have it 
working by next week.
