OK... here you live in Maine, me in CT, and we have to finally meet in
Seattle? Interesting world we live in ;-)

OK, figured there was something done, but couldn't remember what.

I pretty well figured that. Already told Paul, my host in Seattle, not to
expect to see much of me for 3 days.

Umm, well, actually, I'm going to be up there for most of the month of July,
for another purpose entirely, relating to my Medieval cooking interests.
Among other things, my host, who's one of the foremost scholars in the world
on Mongols, has promised me the run of his library, and the use of his copier
until we run out of toner ;-) Can you say, "Hog Heaven" ?

Not only will I be interested in meeting my smithing friends, and finally get
to meet some of my SCA friends, but I also have a few friends having nothing
to do with either, from when I was in Seattle 35-40 years ago. Suspect this
trip is going to be almost as much fun as Pennsic- and I'll be following up
with two weeks at Pennsic.

If things work out, I think this will be an interesting summer ;-)
