Well, Ries, you're one of the people I had planned to try to meet anyway, if 
I had to go out to your shop to do it, so this will be pretty convenient ;-) 
This trip, as it happens, the smithing things I needed to do are on the back 
burner- Paul and I won't be doing the cooking class until next year, but, 
aside from my commitment to him and his doings, I have every intention of 
spending some time getting to know local smiths, for when I DO need to do my 
project.

I'm trying very hard not to get too excited, in case things fall through, but 
it ain't working very well ;-) It'll be a thrill, just finally getting to 
meet some of you folks I've talked to for so long on this List ;-)
