I was just pointing out that if you don't REALLY know what you are dealing 
with, you can blow your ass off.

Now for dangerous flesh acids, I'd put hydrofluoric acid as worse, if only 
for it's delayed effects.  My chemisty teacher's story about his lab 
partner who use of wood splints, no gloves and hydroflouric acid to etch 
acid nearly resulted in the loss of his fingers (and did result in 
permanently damaged fingertips).  And that isn't even taking into account 
the fact it could have killed him flat out.
