What is anvil ring? LOL
Got a very quiet anvil with  lots of rebound that will  leave a  knot on your 
head.
I am  running a Future 2 anvil. Top half  steel   bottom  half  Aluminum with 
a rubber gasket with 2 large bolts holding  it together. Think I got about a 
90% rebound with mine. Weight of mine  is right around 100#. been using it 
over 10 years and only modification that i  did was to take my grinder to the 
horn tip to remove the sharp point.
