When you say double liner, what do you mean? Like castable refractory and
Kaowool?

I can't compare either as only Kaowool has been available. This may have
changed though as it seems EJ Bartells has really increased it's supplier
list.
Still it doesn't really make a difference in my preferred forge set up as I
like the double liner. It takes longer to heat up but is about
indestructable and laughs off flux.
