[TheForge] Kaowool and Durablanket: apples and oranges

Maybe it has been said, but from my experience, Durablanket and Kaowool 
are quite different products with different uses.
As an insulating material, Kaowool is excellent, but it shouldn't be the 
final layer on the hot part of the forge.
Durablanket performs the same task, with one huge difference: it 
reflects heat WAY better than Kaowool, meaning that your forge gets much 
hotter.
Durablanket with a thin coating of Plistix- which Larry Zoeller sells- 
makes my dirt simple blown forge an outstanding welding machine. It gets 
seriously bright white hot in there, something I was not able to achieve 
with the same forge and Kaowool.
