Of course I have been told things that were not always accurate but that
is what I would call it a wagon style post vise.

That might work.  The "Bolt" in the back of this one, is nearly square

about 3/4 inch stock. So you think that it fits goes on the oak wagon
shaft 
/tongue ?

I listed it, and then took it back off a couple hours later before
anyone  
bid.  Think I will take the bottom bolts loose and clean up the joints.

was worried that some one would buy it and then complain that it didn't

move easily enough.  Maybe I will decide to keep it. 

When I was looking how to stabalize it on a bench, I thought that it
looked 
like it will fit inside of a 1 inch square heavy wall tube.
