OK guys I think you are missing the significance of the sculpture.
This is the one and only ZOMBIE BLACKSMITH ever to have been
immortalized in WOOD. The drawn complexion, ragged clothing, oversized
feet and the blank stare.. all point to it as being a zombie.
I mean the wooden hammer and wooden anvil is like the wooden car with
the wooden wheels and wooden engine.. it just wouldn't work! As a
sculptor myself it doesn't work for me. But I appreciate the time and
effort put into it, obviously by some poor bugger in Eastern Africa,
but it is not the type of thing I would keep in my living room.
Perhaps as kindling for my forge but certainly not inside my house (it
would scare the crap out of my kids!!!).
