Roger, you were just exposed to that accent last week - so it's fresh in
your mind. :-)
No rush on the discs....I'm still catching up on everything I didn't get to
do for three weeks while I was out playing with all you guys in Minnesota,
Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio. Sure was a fun trip!! .......I toured 9
shops and visited Scott Forge in Wisconsin - wow - what a smooth, clean,
operating industrial forge that is.

Thanks for the response on air hammers
While reading your post I suddenly realized I was hearing your New
England accent as I read the info
I will get your DVDs in the mail Monday

Bob, I'd have to agree with you for air hammers being more controlled
and a better hammer. I'd still take a Little Giant with a brake for
general rough forging like vines and leaves - much faster. I have a 50
lb Little Giant and two air hammers in my shop and for work requiring
more control I always head to the air hammers.
One of my air hammers is now called the "tower of power" as it's about 8
feet tall with it's 18" stroke. We had a thread going a while ago on
this list about air hammers and someone said " a long stroke piston
would not work well in a Kinyon hammer as it would take too long to
exhaust the air in the opposite chamber"......... I dont' know who said
it - but they are way wrong. This hammer works far better than I ever
imagined and working with an 11 inch open die space is awesome for
furniture, sculpture, and forging large pipe sections.
