Hey guys -
Thanks for all the replys about welding copper. I will probably go with
brazing when I get some rod, but for a try out I soldered a leaf to a vine
and a tendril of different size wires. The leaf is made out of copper roof
flashing and is quite thin. I took steel wool over it to clean it before I
shaped it, then after all was done, I clear coated it. (My wife likes the
look of copper and she gets most of my tryouts.)
I put 3 pictures of it in the "current works" folder on the Photo Access
site listed at the bottom of all our emails. Feel free to comment on it, my
feelings won't be hurt as this is just a tryout and since it worked, what
else could I ask for?
Yours,
