[TheForge] Moving big stuff across country

For the time when you want to get a power hammer from New Jersey to
Arizona or a 600# anvil from Cleveland to Ithaca:

   http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/haulquery.pl

I just happened across this site while looking for advice on a
Wisconsin VE4. They're mostly concerned with old tractors and related
gear but old tractor guys might often be intrigued by blacksmith gear
if you could guarantee no-hassle loading and unloading.

As you might expect, there are more big hunks of iron looking for
free/cheap rides than there are guys with space on the deck. (Which
means that you might pick up some gas money if you were to post there
and haul something for someone else.)

And there are ads from a few commercial haulers. But worth a look
before you sign up to Fedex your Nazel. [1]

[1] Google returns no hits on the phrase, "fedex your nazel". :-)
