Dave and I worked for Ed when he was Engineering Manager at JM.    Now Ed and 
I are in the development group.  Ed is now the Development  Manager and we 
spend most of our time playing with NiTinol.

presented  their paper "Hot Extrusion of Heavy Wall Seamless Tube for  
Platinum  Jewelry Applications" at the same event. In their  
presentation they  had a video of the process. I loved the part where  
they showed using  a self contained air hammer to forge the pouring  
cup of a red hot  platinum ingot. That and the actual extrusion video  
were great to  watch. Do you work with that group?
