This guy at Iowa State has been doing some work of interest to us. The 
7-5.pdf file is a book on metallurgy aimed at the practicing smith.

Note: these are LARGE files. 7-5 is about 8 megabytes. This will almost 
certainly NOT download successfully on a telephone modem, you'll need a 
high speed connection (or a friend with one).
