Ralph et all,
Can you draw up a set of plans to build a bridge crane?
I have to rebuild my shop. I am going to build a metal building.
I want to have a built-in bridge crane. My old shop had a nice jib crane
and it helped to save the equipment from being crushed. However a bridge
crane will reach all areas of the new shop. The dimensions of the plans
are not too important. It's more for the details of the mechanics of the
crane.
My building will be 26' x 36' and as tall as it needs to be in order to have
10' clearance under the chain fall.

Jeff, If your asking if I want to buy and ship one from California - I'll
pass. I'll find one up here as they come available once in a while and it
would be worth the wait to avoid shipping costs.

I know of a building that's to be demolished, chock full of jib cranes.
Some
are pretty fair size, others smaller. It's in Taft, California. I know a
friend of one of the renters, so I can't hook you up directly, but if
any one is interested, send me an email off-list and I'll point you in
the right
direction.
