Mike,
What you are missing is the wooden "pump handle" and the swivel mounting bracket that attaches it to the rim of the forge pan. Mine looks like a shortened wheelbarrow handle (round on the handle end and square on the end where it attaches to the forge). I don't have mine handy at the office, but I think it is about 3 1/2 or 4 feet long. About 2/3 of the length is round, the last 1/3 square. Where the square starts, the handle fits into a swiveling fulcrum on the edge of the pan (where that empty hole is on your forge). About 1 1/2 inches up from the far (square) end of the handle is an eyebolt that links into the eyebolt near the "ball" on your forge.
In use, you would actually be standing on the other side of the forge from the "ball" and pumping the handle, not bending over to pump the ball.

I swapped off an Acadia single-banger today for a Wisconsin VF4 and
got a nice post drill and a cute litle forge thrown in. It has a lever
and ratchet to drive the little blower. But I don't think all the
parts are there. It doesn't quite make sense as it is.
