A friend of mine, who by chance happens to be named Mike, was at the
time a captain (I think) in the Air Force. He was with his commanding
officer and a couple of others spending some time off walking in a good
sized Canadian city. They stopped in a square and were leaning up
against a statue; Mike says "So who's the dead guy on the horse?". His
commanding officer, who happened to be female, said "That's the Queen,
and she's not dead yet".
