Here propane is 2.10 bulk, gas is 2.50

Bob,  As with all other utilities........the northeast gets screwed every
time.  The lowest I could buy propane for was $1.68 per gallon doing a bulk
buy each time.  The supply company I deal with for the shop did not offer
prebuy on propane - just the oil for the house.

We also pay more for fuel, and gasoline compared to most areas of the
county.  Somehow the ports being under a 100 miles away that the fuel comes
in on.......doesn't matter a bit.  Up near the canadian border they pay less
than us........but what would I expect if they had to truck it 300 miles -
of course it would be less!  Go figure -

One guy told me it was the special fuel additives for the city
areas............"yeah right - you got a bridge to sell too?"   That was my
reply to that wonderful explaination of why I was getting screwed.

Funny how you buy gas for $1.88 and I'm paying $2.19  ........... Jeez, only
31 cents a gallon less - why should I be surprised.  I know NH charges a 26
cents a gallon fuel tax - so maybe they figure they got to collect at the
pump with gas as well.  We don't have a sales tax.........Just every other
tax imaginable.
