[TheForge] Madison Conference (was test - test - test - test)

It was a great Conference and I got at least 4 articles worth of material 
from the demonstrators.  Good tailgate sales, I think I have see better or I 
am getting to the point where I have most of the items I want -- but prices 
keep going up too.

Clay Spencer had his new 50 pound "Ray  Clontz Tire Power Hammer" there and 
it was used in one of the demo areas.  It works great and Clay is building 
jigs and fixtures to put on Power Hammer Workshops like he has been doing on 
treadle hammers for years.  Looks like there a 5 of these workshops already 
forming.  Clay also will  have plans for sale  in the not too distant 
future.  Lots of interest in this hammer.  (Clay has given his treadle 
hammer plans to ABANA and they will in the future be available from ABANA 
and not Clay.  He also plans to no longer do treadle hammer workshops once 
he finishes the ones he already has scheduled.)

It rained like hell mid-day on Friday and was rather cool Saturday morning 
and the food at the dinner on Thursday night was not very good but hey you 
can't have everything.

For me I got more out of this conference than I did at the Richmond ABANA 
conference and I thought that one was pretty good.  It was a great 
conference.
