Greetings,

With all due respect, bullsh*t.  Keep it wet, don't bury the nozzle in the
siding and you should be fine.  If the siding hasn't been painted yet even
better.  Hose it off, let it dry, then paint it.  That stuff soaks up paint
like a sponge.  I painted mine, it was cake.  Good luck.
