[TheForge] Sorry to break in with a blacksmithing question

I am sure that is right -- Peter's point was that students think "Machine"
when in fact they have any easy method right in front of them when they
already have the metal hot. The cut I made yesterday in 1 1/2 material was
because it was hot, and I had the power hammer. I could have let it cool
and cut it with the band saw or burned it with the cutting torch. I tend to
be like Peter's students and because of my machinist background think "band
saw" -- because I like that nice clean cut. Put if the end use doesn't
require it -- hot cutting it is fine. ( or the cutting torch.)
