Buddy is president of the Gulf  Coast Blacksmith's Association and we hold 
our monthly meetings at his shop the next meeting is 26 June. Maybe you 
could make it    we usually have at least 35 members attend.

  If you want to venture further off your route, you could visit Laurel MS.

the Rodgers Museum in down Town Laurel . The builders commissioned Samuel 
Yellin to do the iron work for the building. He set up shop on the front 
lawn of a mansion across the street and his folks did the fabrication right 
there.

You also might want to visit Laurel Machine and Foundry and pick up a fire 
pot. They cast the best I have seen.
