The Vieux Carre' of New Orleans contains some wonderful ironwork - both cast and wrought.  Worth a visit.  Of course, it's worth a visit anyway, for any NUMBER of reasons, but the iron makes a good excuse...

The wife and I are driving from Memphis to New Orleans and I though "Hey, if 
I could find something blacksmith related on my trip, I'd be furthering my 
passion and have the satisfaction of annoying the wife."  Any suggestions on
