[TheForge] Tools out west?

A few people have mentioned that it's hard to find used equipment in
the Northwest. I'm moving there in the next year, and I'm wondering if
it makes sense to buy here (seems like everything comes out of the rust
belt, but DC is closer than western Canuckia) or see if i can find it
locally. Is it worth it to make a special effort to find things like a
fly press back here before I split? I can move smaller pieces like that
now without much trouble but I would't otherwise go on a tol buying
rampage this year....
