Oldest daughter was in high school, came home to tell us about a new band.
The wife took her by hand, and showed her the bonafide vinyl put out in the
early '70s<G>. I forget the band, did Toys in the Attic. Now she refuses
to let me hear her music. I liked her 9 inch nails cd, now it is lame<G>.
She also, was in high school, and finally found out that Jimi Hendrix was
both black, and dead. As far as she could tell by us, he was current
events<G>.

Funny- I have a house full of teenagers who listen to more classic rock
than I ever did, but I tend to like the newer stuff: along with Alison
Krause, who everybody adores, Norah Jones and Audioslave are the most
popular in my workspace and truck right now.
But Buena Vista Social Club is still high on the list.... Thanks for all the
interesting suggestions! Andy G.
