Nobody sews anymore it seems.  Fabric stores are dwindling away, and 
seem to be mostly filled with scrapbooking crap nowadays.  Guys don't do 
it cause its girls work, girls don't do it because its girls work.   
Whenever I break out my sewing machine I always get looks.  I tell the 
interested there is no difference between my Necchi sewing machine and 
my sebastian screw cutting lathe.  A tool is a tool and if you can learn 
to burn holes in your clothes with hot iron, you can learn to patch them 
and backstitch a seam at the same time.
