[TheForge] inertia block hammer foundation question

I'm living atop a rather steep lump of clay and rock on the far left
coast where landslides are embarassingly common. It is steeper than the
angle of repose on 3 out of 4 sides here.
The wife's art studio is right above the shop.
Now, I'm trading up to an Anyang 165# hammer....
Sooo...it seems prudent to install it on an inertia block foundation.
A fellow smith offered my choice of inertia block suspension spring
units that are left over from his much larger hammer ( he built a
regular foundation).
The story had it that the weight of the inertia block needed to be
calculated properly to avoid harmonic complications etc.
Do any of you learned smiths know the applicable formula or where to
find it in a form simple enough for this left-over hippie to calculate?
Or better yet, a published table that would list such info ?
Sure would appreciate some expert help here. Thankyou all...Pete F
