[TheForge] Gas Forge Recommendation

For me, it's all about the quest. Once you fall into the world of
blacksmithing something takes over your soul; one becomes elevated to a new
plane of existence. The trial and error...the scares, the busted knuckles,
and gashed hands remind us of what works and what doesn't. Sometimes I look
at what I have done or designed and wonder what kind of mood I was in when I
made that; I couldn't replicate it if I tried. A crazy thought, but I
sometimes wonder if in fact souls are reincarnated...it almost seems as if
blacksmithing has picked us to continue the art. I don't know, maybe it's
just the independence that comes with being able to rely on ones own skills.
If what we are making and designing works, then we are superheroes, if it
blows up in our face...we are stupid. At any rate...we continue forward, a
little humbled or a little prouder.

"Journeymen would be as rare as hen's teeth if they had to completely
self-teach"
Oh, I'm confused, I thought that the self teach stuff was where the fun
was...does that mean all the bumps and lumps under my skin are old hen's
tooth reminants?....And here i thought they were burn scars and
warts.....We learn so many wonderful things on the web!.........PF
