[TheForge] EXCITING ADDENDUM to anvil stand construction!

Well, as I was out policing up the scraps from yesterdays anvil stand
festival and the two expensive quick adjusting clamps I left out in the
weather overnight I discovered that the long triangles of 2x PT that I have
left over from ripping the 10 degree cuts on each side of the 4 pyramid
faces, that each have the 10 degree bevel on the bottom if you visualize the
triangles as sitting vertically, will fit together in pairs to make 4
leaning pyramid corners each about 25" tall. This means that I can wrap the
four with PT plywood (I'm guessing that the 1/2" will be plenty strong) to
make another pyramid stand. I'll just have to rip the square at the top to
the 10 degree bevel and rip the 10 degrees on the top and bottom of the 4
plywood pyramid pieces that will make the outer skins and screw and glue it
all together. In fact, if I wanted it wouldn't have to be a square pyramid
but could be a rectangle pyramid stand. Right? And from a construction
plan point of view just make these 8 pieces and screw and glue em together
to make the 4 leaning corner assemblies and leave out my beloved stand that
I made yesterday and save a bunch of time and money. You heard it first
here! Hell the sides could be scraped out by fitting pieces of 5/4 or 1x
over the four corner pairs after ripping the 10 on the bottom edge or you
could even wrap the 4 corner pairs with lumber laid horizontally and trimmed
at the leaning corners if you don't mind ugly.

Sorry but I'm maxed out on technology just getting this e-mail out and don't
have pictures. Please stop by and jump on this stand and see what you
think.
