Strongly suggest against forging hastalloy- it's got a lot of nasty stuff in
it that will vaporize off with less than sterling effects on your lungs-
vanadium is one element. It is good for high temp applications, as well as
being chemically resistant to a number of substances, but it's not something
you want to get to forging heat.
