They stick a big needle in your ear than pump your head full of the lidocane, I don't remember much after that... Just kidding, they give it intravenously in the arm in one shot. You get quite a rush and it sounded like the ocean rolled in through my brain. I was unable to speak for a couple of minutes only able to stammer. Bill
