[TheForge] Hearing aids

Don,
What Dan is telling you is truly the best way to go. I have been wearing
hearing aids for about 12 years. They told me I was too close to the
explosions when they were going off. Anyway, hearing damage is accumulative
and the sharp and sudden loud noises at the anvil are some of the ones that
do the most dammage. Thats why I try to use only Fisher anvils. Anyway, I
have been the route of miracle ear and of the cheap ones that will let you
hear a deer walking in the woods at a 1000 yards. All of them do something
but they are designed for the masses, not the individual. Unless you want to
also learn sign language, I would suggest you follow Dan's advice. Yes it
will be the expensive route but it will allow you to hear and I would prefer
that to the alternative.
