Hey, thats nothing. I have a friend who was selling original Blossfeldt 
prints, and she was getting something like $3000 per photo. A lot of 
dealers cut the pages out of those books, and sell them page by page, 
for big bucks.
Blossfeldt was a blacksmith, you know.
Hence the uncanny attraction of his photos for most smiths.
Jean Whitesavage and Nick Lyle have made a ton of work inspired by 
Blossfeldt, or at least inspired by a similar fascination by plant 
forms rendered in metal.
