Amen, brother! Fly presses are fantastic tools.
Ries, I note that your responses are always right on the money, and I
can tell you are writing from your personal experience, which is great.
I always appreciate reading your posts to The Forge.

I am not going to argue with you, but I am simply going to encourage
you to please visit my web site, http://phoenixhammer.com and please
take the time to view the my promo videos completely , and read all of
the material that I have written about my machines. If you can't
download the videos off the web site, I can send you a copy of the
promo video on a DVD. My hammers actually have the control that you
would get from a fly press, single blows, the repeatable action, the
feathering, AND the speed and power of a power hammer, all in one tool.
Perhaps the " best kept secret" in the light forging industry, I have
been building these machine since 1996, and they are in use in the U.S
and ten other countries. Please check it out, and tell me what you
think. I am always eager to hear ways to promote my products better.
Thanks for your time, and your contribution to The Forge.
