I sympathize too. I tore up the Alps on my Austrian trip then broke my thumb
on the bunny hill when I returned! 
Seeing the ortho guy tomorrow.

I do empathize. I know a lot about finger, hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder
problems. Are you any where near Shans Hospital?
