Yes, you do- if you're building something for public access. But if _I_ want
to build a private toilet for _my_ access on _my_ rented premises, which is
exactly what I was doing, _I_ don't have to make it accessible to anybody
but me. The fact that I was looking at making it accessible to other people
who happen to be in chairs, etc is a choice on my part, and none of the
ADA's business.
There are a sufficiency of portacastles on site, and we even made sure that
there was one designed for handicapped folks nearby, by petitioning the
campground owner, among the same facilities for the rest of us.
> Now, like zoning laws, if no one complains, you are ok.
As far as I'm concerned, they can complain to their hearts content, and I
can tell them precisely where to get off- and have, and will. What's
interesting is that a dear friend, who is very much involved with ADA and
understands what I was doing, agrees with me- _I_ have no requirement to
make the pot HC accessible, since _I'm_ not responsible for the campground
facilities.

Whoops- oh well.
I'm surprised you can't get people's addies off TheForge. IE, which you guys
cuss so much, gives them to me every time I respond or forward.
