They work pretty well, in my experience, their utility depends a bit on your
useage. If you have a high-powered, high speed belt grinder, and use your belts
until you see the backing, then yes. If your grinder is a bit on the wimpy side,
you'll load them up and stop grinding before you get the full utilization out of
them.
I love the Norton hogger ceramics, a similar belt, as I can profile all day with a
single 36 grit belt on the 4hp 2" x 72" grinder.
