That is ismilar to shat I was thinking... something that might hang 
netweeh the knees of the smith, perhaps?  I think this would work well, 
but the smith might need to have a second wheelchair that is modified in 
its structure to get the arm rests out of the way of tongs and hammer. 
I'm sure this is very doable.
