I am not a lawyer, but I am the executor of my mom's will. As such, she has
given me instructions as to how her will is intended to be interpreted. In
your will, you can (and should) specify what you want done, and specify an
individual to whom you have explained your intentions as your executor. If
said person knows enough to make the decision, so much the better; if not,
you should select some one who does have that knowledge for that particular
task and specify in the will that he be given the equipment to dispose of
in the manner stated. A lawyer familiar with trusts/wills should be able
to guide you in the appropriate wording.
