[TheForge] oliver keeps bugging me

If you can  rebuild one you are a fair part of the way to just plain 
building one, which is what most of us do. I built mine out of junk 
kicking around the yard and it's still hammering  15 odd years later. 
OK, so I keep changing parts, but that's a good thing, right?.
The time gap between extensive commercial use of olivers and and their 
replacement with other more modern, specialized machines means that 
almost all of them are long gone , so far as I know.
If you need guidance, there are plans avail from ABANA, Jere' Kirkpatric 
and Clay Spencer. Give serious though to building an "in line "hammer 
instead. The arc of the oliver swing can be a 
nuisance.................Pete F
