I'm inclined to raise some sand like most of us.
 This medium requires willful , stubborn people each one of whom is apt 
to have a strong opinion.
 If we all sucker into laying our OT opinions flat out on theforge, as I 
have, then we won't be able to talk to a bunch of cranks about 
blacksmithing much at all.
We all enthustiastically disagree about  many, if not most ,things.
 What is left is blacksmithing.....that's what we have in common. As our 
revered net mommie was letting us know. A valid point.
If we rigorously adhere to the appointed subject, many of us will die of 
boredom...and a number of the rest may not entirely recover.....as Bob  
said.
So, I respectfully propose , mostly blacksmithing , the odd snit, a 
modicum of snorting , pawing and occaisonal condolences, as the 
preferred mix.... and we can argue about the proportions.
To those who disagree, collect small joy by hitting
