[TheForge] Have you run your Nazel/Chevette lately?

...... ?, So, do you need an 80 amp breaker to feed the initial 5hp motor
to develop enough power in this chain gang converter to handle the start up
current on the 15Hp motor on the hammer?
I don't see how running a 30 amp service into a converter and then on to
another idler, and then on to another idler is going to amplify current.
...........if so, I shouldn't be going to pick up this 20 Hp converter
that takes an 80 amp breaker this weekend to power my Nazel motor.
At this point, I'm going to opt for the single converter unit as my
walls don't have enough room for three motors, and motor starters as I was
hoping for some shelving to put dies and fixtures.......... and there is no
room on the floor either.
I can be talked out of anything, but how does this generate the
approximated 72 amps of power needed for start up ?
Inquiring (no) minds want to know........ :-)
Ralph
