I had a Henrob and got rid if it. It does work as advertised and I've seen
others use them well. But it isn't as simple as it sounds and it takes a
pretty experienced hand to use one well for cutting anything other than
straight lines. My main torch is a Smith. I mostly use oxy/propane for
cutting, brazing and spot heating (rosebud). The only difference between
acet and propane sets is the tip selection. You use different tips for
propane than for acetylene. I do have a small plumbers acetylene tank (aka
Presto tank) and connect that when I want to gas weld. You don't get the
option of choosing or switching fuels with the Henrob.
And the Smith and other torch sets will cost a whole lot less than the Henrob.
