[TheForge] Need recommendation for a welding/cutting torch

Larry,  I'm surprised that you went to check the community colleges and
vo-tech schools and they didn't offer any welding classes.  Our schools are
loaded with a waiting list for these classes (or maybe that is what you
meant when refering to these schools not offering classes currently).

At any rate, look in their book stores as they usually carry the books for
the class if they offer them.  The book "Welding - principals &
applications" by Larry Jeffus/Harold V. Johnson, has been a good general
welding reference for me over the years.  Maybe an online book search of
someone on this list might have a second copy for sale if they have one.
