Don't know if this is of any use to you.

Appears to be a 'Blacker Hammer'. Looks to me to be a very basic trip
hammer.

Strangely, it seems to be advertised on Ebay UK, but priced in US $. Does
say post worldwide though (for $400).

Halifax is only 20 miles from me, but I don't have the finanace to buy it,
the space to put it, or probably a good enough use for it :-(

Subject: [TheForge] hammer of the gods

Good morning,

So I put a wanted up on yet another machine tool site for a hammer, and
I said, foolishly I guess, that bigger is better. I was thinking 300-lb
Nazel, something like that. This guy calls me almost immediately from
San Diego and asks how big I was looking for...and sends me this link.
3 and a half tons of hammerness, 48" by something like 26" striking
area. If I could afford it I don't think I could move it let alone
power it (it's pneumatic), but I thought I'd share the pics with y'all,
knowing there are more than a few machineheads here and having just had
that conversation about super-hammers a little while ago. Maybe
somebody wants it. He said he'd take $12,500 for it.

Enjoy. It's about halfway down the page. Control-f for <chambersburg>.
