I think you need the high temp paint. Larry's design is well insulated,
and I haven't used that particular design, but I have used others that
are similar. The shell will get pretty hot, especially if you're at
forge-welding heat for some time. But, more importantly, the dragon's
breath around the opening will tend to lick up around the edges of the
shell, even with the brick doors in place. You need high-temp paint for
that.
