build a rack that has 2 sides and shaped like an  invert V with   rods 
sticking out at right angles to  hold the stock. I  have my  steel  in PVC pipe and 
found out that moisture does get in them and  rusts the steel. It should have 
a base of at least 2 to 3 foot if needed or  smaller if needed. but make sure 
you put stock on both sides. you  could  also do  "J"  hooks that you mount to 
the studs on the walls.  Longest stock on bottom and put shorter one going up 
as needed. Don't know what  kind of steel size you got so can't say the sizes 
of the hooks.
